Fun Facts

I have a beautiful 10 month old daughter and an adorable 4 year old son. I understand the importance of family and children, which is why I treat my students with the same respect and dignity that I would treat my own children.

I enjoy listening to music and discovering new bands. Before having kids I used to frequently attend concerts.

About Me

I began my teaching career at a local High School in 2008, and I spent 3 years at this school. During these three years, I served as both a education/texas/houston">Special Education and General Education teacher in mathematics classrooms. I taught Algebra I, Geometry, Math Models, and TAKS preparation classes at the high school level. I started a new chapter in my teaching career this school year, moving to a local Middle School. I currently teach 7th and 8th grade education/texas/houston">Special Education math classes.

My passion in life is teaching children mathematics. I love working with struggling students and helping them succeed and meet their goals. Former students compliment me on my ability to break down complex concepts in a way that they can understand. While I enjoy teaching in the public school setting, I wanted more of an opportunity to work one on one with students through houston">tutoring. This is why I decided to become a houston">tutor for Frog houston">Tutoring.

I graduated from Kingwood High School in 2001. After finishing high school, I attended Kingwood College (now Lonestar College) for a short time before transferring to Sam Houston State University. I received my Bachelors of Science from Sam Houston State University in 2005. After beginning my teaching career, I decided I wanted to go back to school to get my Master's degree. I received my Master's in Education Administration from lamar-university">Lamar University in May 2011.
