I love to travel! In the last 6 months, I have lived abroad and traveled to 12 countries. My favorite store to go to is tourist shops and target. Soccer is my favorite sport to play and I prefer cats over dogs.

About Me

I am a certified teacher social studies teacher in Virginia and I have my Masters of Arts in Teaching from madison-university">James Madison University. I recently returned to the US from Poland where I was teaching at a university to teach middle or high school history/government.

Experience

I have taught US Government, World History, US History, Women's History, Gender Studies, and English as a Second Language throughout Virginia in middle and high schools and a university in Poland. I have also tutored history in high schools and in universities. I also worked at camps for preschoolers through middle school students.

Approach

I think studying history for be fun. The way that we currently teach history is a lot of memorizing dates and information but not seeing how everything connects. I believe history should be more hands on to connect with the material and see how one event causes another event.
