At its height, NHU offered undergraduate degrees in business, education, and liberal arts, as well as certificates and credential programs designed to promote leadership and professional development in the Hispanic community. The university was geographically situated near other major Silicon Valley entities, offering a strategic advantage for partnerships and technology-oriented educational pursuits.
The university's faculty and tutors were known to be deeply involved with its mission, offering services not only to the students of NHU but also to related entities such as the Latino College Preparatory Academy, the NHU Foundation, and the NHU Early University Program. This faculty often played multiple roles—educators, mentors, and cultural advocates—providing their students with guidance and support tailored to their unique cultural and educational needs.
