Since I was 5 years old, I have played and had a passion for softball. I am the youngest of all my siblings. I have 13 year old Chihuahua and Netherland Dwarf bunny. I love the state of Texas!

About Me

I am a graduating senior majoring in English at Philander Smith College. My career aspiration is to do something that advocates for children. I intend to obtain my law degree so I can become a Juvenile Attorney..

Experience

I have received academic honors and certificates since I was in elementary school. I am currently a member of McKinley Newton Honors Society and Alpha Kappa Mu Honors Society. I have tutored K-12 graders since 2017. I have participated in mentoring and childcare programs at places such as Lasting Impression LLC, Boys and Girls Club of Arkansas and now I am employed with Arkansas Youth Services as a site coordinator for an after school program.

Approach

I intend to tutor the student in a way that they will understand. As a child, I noticed school systems taught all students the same. They don't dedicate to each individual child's learning needs and challenges. I would like to incorporate fun ways for the student to grasp the topic he/she needs help understanding.
