Dog mom to a beautiful black lab! I am vegetarian so I love to cook and try out new recipes. Love kayaking, hiking, being out in nature in general when the weather is nice!
About Me
Currently in my fourth year at Youngstown State University where I double major in both mechanical engineering and mathematics. My plans are to continue on for a masters and hopefully become a professional engineer, possibly obtain my PhD.
Experience
Always been the 'math friend' of the group and very passionate about my learning so I want to share that with others. I have always been willing to help where my friends and peers have struggled, even in college creating small study groups even if I am not taking lead.
Approach
I believe that everyone can learn math and sciences, you just have to be gentle and open minded in the way you approach as everyone learns differently. School systems force us to learns these subjects growing up, but don't always tend to individual needs so students sometimes slip through the cracks and end up feeling flustered. I believe there is a proper way to teach for everyone so they can understand and not get frustrated in solving.

Calculus I Tutoring
B in the course
I accel in integration, derivatives, anti-derivatives, and graphing functions. this was a fun class for me to take.
Calculus 2 Tutoring
A in the course, I received a 97% on the final
This course was very heavy on integration techniques which is something I excelled on in calc 1.
Calculus 3 Tutoring
B in the course, and I have kept all of my notes
This is where we begin to discuss 3-D planes and N-dimensional planes as well as graphing within these planes. Also start talking about partial derivatives, double integrals, triple integrals, and vector calculus. though this course was tricky it is just a lot of information that is different from calc1 and calc 2, but ultimately we are still building upon the knowledge basis that we have already formed.
Algebra Tutoring
My algebra skills have been almost perfected over the years, I took algebra in the 8th grade and have been using these skills through college. As a math major these skills are almost second nature to me, but I am able to slow down and break them apart to teach.
Algebra II Tutoring
Took this as a sophomore in high school, these skills come directly from algebra one and are used heavily through the calculus series. I have honed these skills as well and am able to slowly break them down in an understandable language and method.
Calculus Tutoring
I took pre-calculus in high school then calculus 1 in college, my teacher the subsequent professor were both amazing and I have a great understanding of the world of calculus.
Physics Tutoring
I have taken high school physics, AP physics (algebra based), college general physics 1 and 2 so I have a good understanding of physics concepts. That includes kinematics (Newton's Laws), electrical circuits, electromagnetism and magnetic fields.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
My algebra skills have been almost perfected over the years, I took algebra in the 8th grade and have been using these skills through college. As a math major these skills are almost second nature to me, but I am able to slow down and break them apart to teach.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I took pre-calculus in high school then calculus 1 in college, my teacher the subsequent professor were both amazing and I have a great understanding of the world of calculus.
Statistics Tutoring
I took AP statistics in high school then college statistics with a focus in engineering. I am great at excel as well as other programs used for statistical analysis. Got an A in both classes.
Math Tutoring
Math major so my basic math skills (multiplication, division, etc.) are amazing. I am also able to teach introduction to algebraic concepts such as the communitive properties, associative, etc.
Math Advance Tutoring
Math major so my basic math skills (multiplication, division, etc.) are amazing. I am also able to teach introduction to algebraic concepts such as the communitive properties, associative, etc. excerpt this would be at a faster pace and close to pre-algebra level skills. I am great with algebra and am able to break down these concepts to make them easily understandable.
Middle School Math Tutoring
Math major so my basic math skills (multiplication, division, etc.) are amazing. I am also able to teach introduction to algebraic concepts such as the communitive properties, associative, etc.
Elementary Math Tutoring
Able to slowly explain simple math concepts in a way that is understandable. At this level they start introducing multiplication, division, long division, multiplication of large numbers, etc.
