About Me
I received my degree in Neuroscience and Public Health from Hampshire College with a certificate in Reproductive Justice. I am currently a graduate student at Smith College where I am studying Social Work and Neuroscience.
Experience
I have been tutoring for 8 years now and it's truly been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I've helped so many students achieve their academic goals year after year and I know that YOU are more than capable of doing the same with the right help. My most rewarding moment was helping high school girls of color at Sadie Nash Leadership Project study for AP exams and apply for college. I currently do alot of work tutoring and woking with students on the Autism Spectrum.
Approach
I believe that collaboration is the key for working with students. Whether it is with the individual, their school, or their family. It allows all involved to know the ways to be of best support. I also focus on tutoring based on the student's learning style. Whether it is visual, auditory, or a combination of both it is important to cater to the ways information can best be retained and understood.
