One thing you may not know about me is that I am quite a foodie. I like to explore different eateries, try new things, and cook dishes I've never made before in my spare time. There is nothing quite as satisfying as when you are able to go from not knowing how to make a dish to it tasting good in the end.

About Me

I graduated from the rochester">University of Rochester with a degree in biochemistry and a minor in business. I truly learned how to enjoy the academic process as I went through college and become interested in my fields subject matter. I enjoy education and educating others, which has brought me to this platform.

Experience

I was able to tutor for four years during my time in college of students from various backgrounds most often over the weekends as students were struggling to balance their extra-curricular activities with their schoolwork. I worked on a variety of math, science, and English courses throughout that time. Additionally, I continued to tutor as an independent contractor afterwards helping middle school and high school students as well as the college students I had helped to become successful.

Approach

From early on I understood that a highly individualized approach to learning was crucial for students success. My approach has been developed from years of trial and error to finally using a active learning based scheme to be able to find the most efficient approach to success. I use test taking and spaced repetition to ensure students are maximizing their time used to be able to understand learn the information they need for their courses.
