About Me

I was born and raised in Memphis, TN. I've spend the last few years working in social services, with special interest in teaching, counseling, and helping ex-offenders with employment services. Spare time is spent traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Experience

As a former Memphis Shelby County school teacher, I've had had the pleasure of teaching KK- 5th grade students and worked in previous years sub teaching for the same district, teaching students in high school.

Approach

I believe that it's important to build confidence and have patience with any learner, regardless of age. Building reading foundational skills is the roadmap for success in any area of study, so the focus is always refining this area to increase overall achievement.
