I have studied abroad in both China and Kenya. I play viola, piano, guitar, and ukulele. My favorite colors are yellow and purple, but not together.

About Me

I am a mechanical engineer that loves to teach and meet new people. One of my passions is passing on knowledge. In my free time, I like to go to the gym, take long walks outside, and read as many books as I can get my hands on.

Experience

When I started college six years ago, I started tutoring and helping people learn in whatever way I could. I began my tutoring journey out with adult learning and helping recent cancer survivors achieve academic success.

For the bill of my tutoring career, I have helped middle through high school students in math and science courses. These courses include geometry, algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, physics, chemistry, science, biology, reading, writing, music theory, and beginner Chinese.

Approach

As a child, I noticed that not many people looked like me when I needed help in my academic studies. I seek to be a representation that anything is possible for women of color and they deserve tutors so that they can see some of themselves.
