About Me

I graduated with High Honors from the University of Michigan in 2010. While there, I studied Environmental Science, which included classes pertaining to Biology, Chemistry, and Geology. In addition, I studied environmental issues in Kathmandu, Nepal. Currently, I work as an Environmental Scientist.

I do not have any tutoring experience; however, I passed the Illinois Certification Testing System (ICTS) Content Test in Biology, which is the certification test for biology teachers in Illinois.

I will approach tutoring by getting to know each student on a personal level so that I can understand how he/she learns best. That way, we can maximize our sessions to focus on the most important areas needing improvement. I hope to work with students so that they both learn the material as well as develop skills that can help the student navigate the subject material in the future.
