English has always been a strength of mine, and I have extensive experience academically and professional in studying and replication of its core concepts. In high school I took AP English and obtained a 4 on the AP English test. I excelled in my college English classes where I received consistent accolades for performance. I taught English abroad in Italy to elementary, middle, and high school students.

Japanese Tutoring

In college I took up through Japanese II where I was able to deeply conceptualize aspects of grammar, how to pronounce words, cultural nuance, Kanji recognition, and solid studying skills to practice Japanese. I have had pen pals in the past whom I communicated with verbally and over text in Japanese.

I took various courses of Philosophy in my undergraduate degree. I have studied Philosophy in earnest during my free time where I consistently pondered various schools of thought and prominent figures, comparing and contrasting their works in order to understand differing perspectives on life.

I am one semester away from completing my bachelors in psychology. After that point, I will be applying for a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology. I was DECA president in high school, where I ran a small-time soda drink service and designed/sold school branded merchandise. I have since worked in many different industries and positions ranging from companies like Tesla and Microsoft, down to much smaller companies of 3 people. This broad experience has given me an exceptionally intimate look into how business is run, and how various decisions can be crucial to achieving success and maintain success. Otherwise, I have studied several languages in college and my personal time, and have immersed myself in other countries where English was not the prominent language. I lived in Italy for three months for a language exchange program. I absorbed the language at a staggering degree where I was able to speak conversationally within the first two months. I also had mentors in the school where I volunteered who helped me to study Italian grammar. My other study and experience in Latin languages helped me to learn Italian strongly.

I took two years of Spanish in high school, and capitalized on my Latin language studies through immersion later in life. I can address accent, grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and proper conversational approaches.

My journey with math started off rocky, but when I reached my college years, I elected to complete precalculus courses to challenge myself and get a leg up on mathematics. By applying myself and going to office hours/study groups, I spent long hours and was able to complete precalculus with flying colors, earning an A. I now am delighted by helping other people who struggle with math by extending the same grace and expertise others showed to me in the past.

Reading Tutoring

I learned how to analyze writing at a high-level through my AP English course and latter college courses. I was introduced to increasingly complex works of art, and learned how to recognize meaning through careful consideration. I was trained to read and maintain information from the most abstract works of literary art, as well as, scientific research papers and other formal writings.

Arts Tutoring

I love art in an active and history capacity, where art's influence in our world over time has been a key component of human expression and documentation of our world. From an active capacity, it is fantastic personal expression, a great creative process, and can provide some therapeutic relief. I have practiced art therapy, learned art history, and participated in art through poetry, photography, painting, pencil/digital drawing, graphic design, and music making.

I worked at Microsoft where I became certified in the whole Microsoft Office suite, emphasizing Word and Excel. I have used Excel at a high-level through various jobs, as well as to complete school work in the business discipline.
