About Me

Hey there! I am currently at home for Christmas break, but I will be back in Oxford on January 22nd for the rest of the semester. I am a freshman at Ole Miss studying biology and chemistry on a pre-med track. I am an involved member of Kappa Delta and a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. I am very driven, but I also make sure to keep my schedule very flexible so I have time for different opportunities. I have class from 9 am-11 am on Mondays, 1 pm-4 pm on Tuesdays, 9 am-3 pm on Wednesdays, 11 am-4 pm on Thursdays, and 9 am-11 am on Fridays. I do volunteer on some Fridays, but other than that, I am mainly conflict-free and would love to fill this time with tutoring. Throughout high school and my first semester of college, I primarily tutored my peers or people a couple of years younger, but I want to branch out into tutoring younger kids in addition to high school-aged kids. I grew up with two younger sisters and a lot of cousins, so I have a lot of experience with children. In addition to this, I also babysat throughout middle and high school, as well as spending my summers as a camp counselor. I am available to babysit or pick up from school in addition to tutoring. Experience

Being in the National Honors Society in high school, I was encouraged to gain volunteer hours, which I gained by tutoring 9th-12th graders. Now, in college, I am in the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College; in which I must once again have volunteer hours. First semester I gained over half of my required hours through tutoring my peers.

Approach

Starting around middle school, I started to struggle with ADHD. However, I have always been very academically driven and have big goals, so as I grew, I developed different techniques to help myself focus and learn.
