I love learning more about the world around us and I love helping others experience and grow in the sciences and mathematics.

About Me

I am a graduate of NMT who pursued an M.D. at UNM. Along the way I learned many valuable lessons in science, math, and most importantly, working with people. I want to help students who wish to achieve. I want to use my experiences to increase passion in STEM.

Experience

I led Junior/Senior design projects at NMT and was the president of the Society of Professional Engineers. I was a captain and treasurer of the NMT Rugby team. I completed the basic sciences portion of UNM's M.D. program and worked with many patients, both simulated and at clinics in ABQ. I was a substitute teacher who strived to help students with math and science.

Approach

Hard topics cannot be pushed on students. An approach that breaks down the material in ways that an individual can understand is the only way. Topics may be the same, but students require instruction that resonates with them. When you can enjoy the material, you will learn the material. I want to help others enjoy what they are learning.
