Fun Facts
I'm very passionate about everything that I do, and I also really like video games. I am also the oldest of two, and I've never been out of California. I also hope to be able to learn a couple of languages, both spoken ones and coding.
About Me
I am a third-year Mechanical Engineering major at San Francisco State University. When I graduate, I hope to attend UC Berkeley to earn my Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
Throughout my time in university so far, I've helped multiple students review their papers and have also tutored family friends in Algebra. Through doing this many times, I've realized that I very much enjoy helping students improve themselves, as it not only helps them reach their personal goals, but also makes me better at helping others, and it fills me with joy when I get to see people reach their goals, and working for Frog Tutoring allows me to do just that.
Approach
I feel that the most important thing with tutoring is being able to see from the student's perspective, as this can allow for the best possible help. Seeing exactly where the students go wrong helps a lot in this, as it allows me to be efficient and get as much done as possible in the allotted session time. Instead of giving students the answers and making tutoring a one-sided approach, I instead look to making tutoring as student-focused as possible

As a Mechanical Engineering major, I take advanced math courses every semester and am always using some kind of math, which requires me to have a high level of control over all the prior math classes that I've taken. I regularly use Algebra, so it's a skill that I have great confidence in and a subject that I would have no issues in tutoring.

Calculus is a subject that builds on top of itself, and I use Calculus on a very regular basis even in my third year of university, so it's imperative that I have a good grasp of the subject, which I feel that I do. I'm confident that I'll be able to tutor anyone who requests tutoring for Calculus.

Although I don't take many classes for English nowadays due to my major, English is a skill that I regularly use nowadays through writing papers for various classes. The few English-related classes that I've taken in university are ones that I've scored A's on, so I'm confident that I'll be able to tutor anyone who'd like to.

Even though Geometry has concepts that I don't really use nowadays, the proofs are something that now make a lot of sense to me after taking so many advanced math courses. Considering that these tend to be the bulk of Geometry courses, I'm prepared to tutor anyone who'd like to be tutored in Geometry. Though, this doesn't mean that I'm weak in the other parts of Geometry, and I can confidently say that I am not weak in those other parts.

In Middle School, I took Advanced Math in 7th grade, and this means that I also had to go through the whole 7th Grade Math curriculum in that class, in which I got an A . I'm confident that I'll be able to assist anyone who may need help in this class. Additionally, as a Mechanical Engineering major, I take advanced math courses every semester and am always using some kind of math, which requires me to have a high level of control over all the prior math classes that I've taken.
Math Advance Tutoring
In Middle School, I took Advanced Math in 7th grade, and this means that I also took Advanced Algebra 1 when I was in the 8th grade. I got an A in that class, so I'm confident that I'll be able to assist anyone who may need help in this class. Additionally, as a Mechanical Engineering major, I take advanced math courses every semester and am always using some kind of math, which requires me to have a high level of control over all the prior math classes that I've taken.

As someone who's taken advanced maths in Middle School and regularly uses advanced mathematical concepts every semester, I'm confident that I can help anyone who needs help with this class.

Despite how much my major of Mechanical Engineering focuses on Math and Physics, it is still necessary to be good at reading, and in my opinion, I feel that my reading ability has always been well above average since elementary school. Whether it's reading faster, developing vocabulary, or reading comprehension, I'm confident that I'll be able to help any student who'd like to be tutored in Reading.
