Fun Facts
I am an avid badminton player and Indian classical dancer.
About Me
I’m the biggest fan of anything science, especially neuropsychology hence my job at UCSF in clinical research and my chosen career in medicine. I graduated in 2021 with a BSc in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. I’m currently a premedical student and will be starting medical school this fall.
Experience
I have tutored throughout high school and college, I was a peer counsellor for my psychology department in college and taught a class on student success and careers in psychology as a senior. I’m also a volunteer tutor with Home Away from Homeless in SF. I work at UCSF’s Brain Bank and have also been a certified nurse aide.
Approach
I’ve always found learning and education to be such empowering aspects of one's life. I believe learning is not attainable or exclusive to genetics or IQ tests, rather is truly an effort which should be approached with excitement and confidence to savor its fruits. My approach is simple, I try to understand what roadblocks students are facing and work with them to resolve those so they can learn better and build a growth mindset to approach any subject with confidence and curiosity.
