About Me

I am a UC Berkeley Master's Graduate. I have 5 years of teaching experience in all levels of Mathematics up to university level courses, Physics, Statistics, Chemistry, SAT/ACT Math, Math Contests such as AMC 8 and 10, and more!

Experience

I was a teaching assistant at the columbia">University of British Columbia for 3 years, where I tutored Calculus and science/pennsylvania/philadelphia">Computer Science. At the same time, I was a math tutor for 5 years teaching math contests, pre-calc 11/12, physics, statistics, and chemistry.

Approach

I believe that understanding is the basis of learning. While I can provide equations to memorize, I prefer to explain why and how the equations work. My goal is to teach students to be able to recall how an equation is derived, so that their answers "make sense", and are not just a result of plugging into formulas.
