One fun fact is that I have 11 pets and an aquarium! Another fun fact is that I am the first individual in my family to go to college in America.

About Me

I am a nursing student and pre/med student. Most of my time is spent on studying and learning new strategies to enhance my studying. Math is something that comes easily to me, and I have learned ways to make it fun and interesting.

Experience

I am a 4.0 nursing student in my third year. I am in the honors society and have always gotten an A in my math classes. I tutored autistic high school students in math for almost a year, helping them with memorization skills along with simple tricks to solve math problems. I have also won merit scholarships for achieving a high GPA/grades.

Approach

I understand concepts in math do not come easily to people, and I've noticed that using it in terms of the student enhances their ability to grasp onto the concepts. For example, my little brother is autistic and has difficulty is math. He is a huge fan of DVDs, so I used DVD phrases to help him understand math, and now he is one of the best students.
