One passion I have aside from writing and reading is soccer! I have played my whole life and follow the sport.

About Me

I am originally from LA but got my B.S. at SFSU. I recently graduated with my M.F.A. from The New School in New York. I hope to attend a PhD program next fall, specializing in Latin American Studies.

Experience

I have worked as an elementary school teacher in New York, teaching both ELA and Math. I also taught English as a second language for a year in Spain.

Approach

I always try to be open and engage with the students' needs. I try to mix procedural learning with new-age methods that promote understanding rather than memorization when needed
