Fun Facts
I love anything related to tennis: watching, playing, discussing, etc. about tennis. I am currently taking sailing classes. My favorite cuisine is anything authentic and homemade.
About Me
I am a research assistant at the Wyss Institute. I work on developing and experimenting with Organ-On-A-technology. I was recently accepted to Med School, which I am looking forward to starting this fall.
Experience
As a peer tutor in high school, undergraduate, and graduate schools, I've tried and refined study habits that apply to various types of learning styles. However, my top favorites that have helped almost all my students are active learning, discussions, and reverse teaching.
Approach
As a high school student, I found Physics extremely difficult, and was fearful of approaching it in undergrad. However, with the experience of succeeding in Organic Chemistry, I applied the same techniques, reviewing before and after class, trying to teach the subject to a friend, and understanding how the content fits into real-world applications. These methods, along with practice problems, helped me understand what I didn't know faster and how I could improve.
