Fun Facts
I am the youngest of three siblings and I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I love sports, especially basketball, football, baseball, and tennis. I am a HUGE San Antonio Spurs fan! My favorite baseball team is the Texas Rangers and my favorite football team is the Dallas Cowboys. I hope to go to a Dallas Cowboys game one day.
About Me
I graduated from St. Mary's University in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Chemistry. I am currently working as a civilian electrical engineer for the United States Air Force.
Experience
During middle school and high school, I realized that I was strong in subject areas such as math, physics, and chemistry. In high school, I would often help other students that were struggling in my classes. It is a great feeling to be able to help students who are having a difficult time with certain subjects. Working for Frog Tutoring would give me the opportunity to help students of all ages and grade levels to succeed academically!
Approach
While I was in third grade, I was placed into a remedial reading group because I struggled to learn. I remember feeling bad about my self and not feeling like I was as smart as the other kids. However, through the help of my parents and a reading tutor, I was able to practice and develop my reading skills. This experience truly inspired me to want to help other students realize their potential. I plan to bring a positive attitude and various approaches for different students to be able to learn.

Calculus I Tutoring
In my senior year of high school, I took AP Calculus AB and earned an A in the course. I also took the AP Exam and earned a maximum score of a 5 (scored from 1-5). During college, I took mainly science classes in my first two years of school. However, I became an Electrical Engineering major in my third year. Therefore, I took Calculus 1 again, and I received an A in the course.
Calculus 2 Tutoring
I am currently enrolled in the Calculus II course and hold an A in the class. As an Electrical Engineering major, Math subjects are fundamental to succeed in the field, therefor my foundation in Mathematics is very strong.
Chemistry I Tutoring
As previously mentioned, I have decided to keep my options open to also be able to apply into medical school. Chemistry I is a fundamental course in which I received an A and have a good understanding of the material.
Chemistry II Tutoring
I successfully passed Chemistry II with a B in the course. I understand the subject well because I have also taken Organic Chemistry I and II and stand one class shy of receiving a minor in Chemistry.
