Ever since I can remember I have always loved numbers. So...I guess you could call me a bit of a math geek. While other's complained about math and wished they were in other subjects, I was the weird one would couldn't stand reading and writing and just wanted to play with equations. They say that math and music often go hand-in-hand, and because of that I contribute a lot of my success as a piano player to my math skills. About Me

I'm Alex Lambert and I am going into my sophomore year at Capital University. I am Double-Majoring in Mathematics and Economics, so I can help out with either of those two subjects at just about any level! I currently have a 4.0 after my freshman year in college.

I have a lot of experience columbus">tutoring k-12 students. For my first semester of my Freshman year in college I tutored at the Bexley Public Library, mainly in math subjects. I also am a a columbus">tutor for Capital University, so I will also have experience columbus">tutoring the college leve. I have currently completed all math courses up through Calculus II, and I have also have experience in Elementary Statistics, and basic Macro and Mirco-Economic classes.

My approach towards the students I work with is simple. First, I found out what they know on the subject matter. Then, after that I start going over the key concepts with them until they have a full understanding of the subject. What works with some doesn't work with others, so I usually try to explain the problem a number of different ways until I found out what gets through to the student the best. Then, once I feel that they fully understand the subject, I give them practice problems to reinforce their knowledge.
