Fun Facts
I'm currently a science/texas/dallas">Computer Science major at Carnegie Mellon University although I am originally from the city of Dallas, TX. I love science/texas/dallas">computer science and I'm simply an avid learner who enjoys trying new things. My most recent obsessions consist of coding, rock-climbing, and experimenting in the kitchen. I also love strumming to my favorite songs on the acoustic guitar!
About Me
I'm currently a science/texas/dallas">Computer Science major at Carnegie Mellon University although I am originally from the city of Dallas, TX. I hope to graduate in 2018 and start out my journey in the tech industry. I also plan on minoring in Human-Computer Interaction or Machine Learning in college as well!
Experience
I've had several dallas">tutoring experiences such as private math dallas">tutoring at my house as well as being a dallas">tutor at forwardtutoring.org. However, my most valued experience was at the University of North Texas where I was a mentor to Upward Bound Math and Science students. This camp allowed lower-income high schoolers to come into my research lab and learn how to conduct and write about research. I was thoroughly excited to make an impact on these students and continue doing what I thoroughly love.
Approach
Not giving up. That is my mantra when it comes to teaching younger children or high schoolers alike. Many of the teachers who have greatly impacted me all had one thing in common: they persisted on making sure students were understanding the material. Despite how much time, effort, or sweat it will take for students to understand the content, I believe the end result is worth it and rewarding to both the dallas">tutor and the student.
