I am very fortunate in that I identified my passion at a fairly young age. For this reason, my hobbies largely reflect my studies. I enjoy reading literature and philosophy as well as engaging in thought-provoking conversation regarding these topics and many others. Communication is what makes the humanities a crucial area of study, and I find it to be the most interesting aspect of day-to-day life.

About Me

Born and raised on the outskirts of Memphis, I attended Houston High School before enrolling at the memphis">University of Memphis in the fall of 2010. I am a devoted scholar specializing in the fields of English writing and philosophy. After graduation, I intend to further my studies in graduate school, eventually earning a doctorate in English and becoming a professor and writer.

Private memphis">tutoring has the capability of empowering a previously distressed student, providing him or her with enthusiasm and confidence. At the University, I take pride in the opportunities I have to memphis">tutor my classmates and friends. Watching as they improve their academic skills and receive good grades gives me a peaceful happiness. Also, I love to learn and appreciate the constructive criticism that they provide to me in the subjects in which they specialize.

As an aspiring educator, I memphis">tutor as I one day hope to teach. I always try my best to relay the knowledge imparted to me by the many wonderful instructors that have impacted my academic career. When appropriate, I use Socratic questioning to help students discover answers on their own in order to foster problem-solving skills and calm confidence.
