About Me

I am a recent graduate from The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Majority of my semester were spent on honor roll. I'm currently a graduate student at UTSA majoring in project management. My goal is to become a professional engineer.

During my junior and senior year at UTSA, I help a group of five incoming engineering freshmen. I tutor them 1 to 5 at a time according to their schedule. I prepare them to do their homework and be ready for test. I was also a teacher assistant at Sylvan Learning Center which expose me to the importance of the tutor-student relationship also of the tutor-parent and tutor-teacher relationship. I'm currently a teacher assistant at UTSA in the Management Science and Statistics department so I have experience on grading college students homework, test, and projects

I feel the best way to learn math and science concepts is to know the real-world application of it and be able to visual the concepts. I'm very visual and like to draw lots of pictures or bring in objects to represent the concepts. I go over on how to approach different problem, how to set them up, key things to look for, and what the answer means in respect to the problem, I never just give answers. I believe the study skill and problem solving skills I go over can be used for all classes the student in taking now and for classes they will take in the future.
