I know how to knit, crochet, cross stitch, and sew, as well as can do almost any other craft. I also enjoy baking for friends and listening to music. I have over 10 years of classical ballet training from seven different states. I'm passionate about serving others, especially after participating as a team member of a medical mission trip in Africa this past summer.
About Me
I graduated in May 2013 from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Art History. Originally from New Orleans, I received most of my education at all-girls private Catholic schools, where I was active in Student Council, Spiritual Life, and National Honor Society. I also taught ballet to three to five-year old girls on the weekends. I attended a ballet intensive boarding school in Virginia for my senior year of high school and originally entered TCU as a Dance major. During the summers, I work as a camp counselor for first grade girls at a summer day camp in New Orleans. I hope to attend medical school in August 2014.

I have tutored high school students in most of the Math and Science classes, particularly Algebra I and II, Biology, Chemistry (AP), and Physics. This past year, I worked closely with a number of special needs students. My students were diagnosed with ADHD, dysgraphia, dyslexia, autism, or bipolar disorder.
As a tutor, I strongly believe in creating a positive learning environment for the student. I push my students to realize their great potential and to understand the benefits that can be reaped from hard work. While it is very important for me to set high academic standards, an equally meaningful aspect of my job is to be a mentor to my students. I int
