Fun Facts
I am from Albania, south Europe, and one of my passions is learning foreign languages. I have managed to learn Spanish and some Italian just by watching foreign TV shows. Recently, I have started to learn French and Turkish, both beautiful languages. My favorite sport is Tennis, and I love to play even though I am not very good at it. A fun fact about me is that I am a morning person.
About Me
I am a student at University of Texas at Dallas for Economics and Biology. I love learning and I think both are very interesting majors. I have been in the Dean’s list for 2 years. My plans are to become a Physical Therapist.
Experience
I have started tutoring math since High School and never stopped. I have tutored students in private starting from middle school to college level, and I have also volunteered as a math tutor at Tarrant County College. Also, I was an SI leader for Psychology class at TCC and an English teacher for middle school children in Belgium last summer. I worked with after school children at Primrose School for 1 year, helping them with the homework.
Approach
My first approach toward teaching was when I started to help my mother, a biology high school teacher, grade the tests of her students. I would go to her class, watch her teach while sitting with her students and watching closely the impact she made on them. I was also lucky enough to have had wonderful teachers who didn’t only teach me the class, but also taught me how to think critically. Now I not only want to tutor the children for the current problem, but rather teach them how to study.

I love languages and the impact each word makes and how they relate to each other. Reading and writing are one of my hobbies in the free time. I have had experience teaching English in Belgium this past summer.
