Fun Facts
I absolutely love playing sports, especially football and soccer! I also enjoy listening to a wide variety of music, occasionally singing and dancing too. I enjoy travelling and appreciating different cultures. I have taken Spanish for 5 years and hope to visit Spain one day!
About Me
Many of my friends and family know me to be a strong leader and mentor in my community. Whether it be as a soccer coach, or a tutor for my friends who are having trouble understanding lectures and complex concepts in class. I am a premedical student, and I enjoy teaching my peers because it gives me a feeling of fulfillment to witness the "ah-ha!" moment in whoever I am helping out!
Experience
MY teaching experience includes, but is not limited to, teaching geo-sciences to elementary school children through the UTeach program. Also, I have extensive coaching experience, with a wide range of age groups. During my entire high school and college career, I have informally tutored many students, implementing different study techniques in order to yield the most success. I believe that it is a major responsibility for college students to give back to our community through mentoring.
Approach
My mentor always tells me that effort is exponentially greater than outcomes of success. I will adopt this attitude and make sure that every avenue is discovered and implemented so that my students are successful in finding the best strategy to use when learning, which will translate into success in the classroom and life outside of school. I will work tirelessly to find the right study techniques that works best for each individual student of mine.

Algebra is so important, that there are two years worth taught in school today. I will continue to keep the foot on the pedal and do my best to help my students excel in this math course.
AP Chemistry Tutoring
I have taken University level Chemistry I and II, and am confident in my expertise of this subject. I will work with my students to ensure that their scores increase, and that they are well prepared for AP exams.

Science Tutoring
Science has always been a passion of mine since I was in elementary school. I am working towards earning a degree in Biology and am currently in a Biomedical Engineering research lab, having published a manuscript in the Journal of Implantology. I will work closely with my students in order to ensure that they begin to foster a love for science, and improve their performance in school at the same time.

I will work hard to correct or enhance the mathematic foundation of all my students. The focus will be to lose dependence of a calculator. Nevertheless, as we progress, I will most definitely introduce calculators into my instruction.
