Fun Facts
If I'm not studying, in class, or working with extracurriculars, you'll probably find me researching more into new technologies. Yeah, I could be out in a club or at a Rangers game, but why do that when the world needs saving?! Although I've never owned one, I am utterly obsessed with Shiba Inu's. As soon as I graduate, he is going to be my first purchase!
About Me
I'm a junior at University of Texas at Dallas majoring in Software Engineering with leadership and work experience and regular volunteering hours throughout my community. When I graduate, I'll be working on my primary goal to create software that will help individuals overcome unfortunate circumstance.
Experience
As a peer leader of my college, I pride myself in the work I have done with children. I have given tours of my campus to the local 6th graders, successfully tutored a few of them, and even received some resonant thank-you's. For some reason, I'm usually seen as the "cool" leader and it becomes much easier to communicate one-on-one. By working with Frog Tutoring, I'm able to help your student evaluate the problems and lead him/her to find the solution.
Approach
There is nothing worse in the educational community than a professor, tutor, or fellow student just throwing the answers without clear explanation. Our public education system doesn't have the personal touch that molds good students into great thinkers/do-ers. I am a huge proponent of the Socratic Method. When implemented successfully, it will identify the problem and reveal a path for the student to travel. If this sounds appealing, then I feel I'll be able to provide the service you desire.

C was my very first programming language I learned. I believe that this should be everyone's first language as well, as it teaches the student what is lying underneath all of the high-level functions. If pointers/allocating memory/syntax/file-reading/etc. is a little hard to understand, I'll be able to help.

C++ is a natural extension of C. As someone who believes they are competent in C and the new ideas C++ brings to the table, I promise that if pointers/classes/data structures are a problem, I'll be able to help.

As someone who has worked in the web-development field, this is my bread-and butter. I was always turned off from it, but once I actually learned HTML, I quickly grew to appreciate. I'll bring my real-world experience to you.

Java was actually my first Object Oriented programming language, so it's one of my favorites. I am able to assist with and implement concepts as I have experience using the native libraries and Android SDK.
