Fun Facts

I am the youngest of three brothers and the only one who currently isn't serving our country in the Navy. Along with being a nerd, having two older brothers in the armed forces also gave me a preview of the sort of discipline and focus that can help you in all aspects of life. Also, I am a pretty huge Game of Thrones fan. I'm not sure if I like the show itself or all of the crazy tinfoil hat theories arise from it more. If I'm not watching Game of Thrones then I am probably watching The Office.

About Me

I am a senior Electrical Engineering major with a concentration in Computer Engineering. My dream job is to aid in the development of prosthetics that are controlled through the person's brainwaves. Digitizing the brain and allowing your thoughts to communicate with computers is closer to becoming a reality everyday and it is my passion!

Experience

Along with being a Senior at Temple University, I have interned and shadowed at a range of different companies. From a terahertz imaging company where I did a continuation study on the feasibility of seeing through drywall to shadowing one of the world's largest publishers' mobile development team, I have had hands on experience with startups and a close-up look with some of the world's biggest corporations.

Approach

I DO NOT teach to tests! Mnemonic devices and memory tricks are a great tool if you want to memorize content for a test, but all of the subjects that I am available for tutoring in require critical thinking. I primarily focus on the student's comprehension of the underlying concepts and ideas of the lesson, and not his/her ability to simply recite something back to me. The dynamic I try to create between myself and the student is one where they feel they can always ask questions.
