Giraffes are my favorite animals, and I collect anything that involves giraffes or giraffe patterns. I also enjoy anything that involves being creative!

About Me

I am currently a sophomore at Texas Christian University. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. My overall career goal is to go to medical school to become a neurologist/neurosurgeon.

Experience:
-I have been tutoring for the past 4 years.
-I have worked with students from age 5 all the way up to 18 years old.
-I specialize in sciences and math, but I also have experience tutoring history/social studies as well as writing.

Approach:

When I first begin tutoring a student, I first establish a strong personal foundation with the student in order for them to feel comfortable talking to me and learning from me. I like to see how the student approaches problems so that I better fit their specific learning style. I allow the student to work a problem first. Then, I check over the work and highlight where the mistakes are to give them a chance to correct them. Finally, we will look over the problem/essay etc. one more time, and then we will approach another problem to see if the method stuck. I am genuinely interested in my students and their learning process as well as the grades that they are making in the classroom.
