I was given the national 4 year scholarship by them to become an officer after graduation. I am the middle child of 3 sisters. My older sister is only 17 minutes my senior, she and I are identical twins. I love almost every sport out there, only one I can not play well is golf. I was a competitive dressage horseback rider for 9 years before moving away for college and continue to ride whenever I am at home. I participate in adventure races such as the Tough Mudder, and in July I will be competing in the Spartan Race.
About Me
I am a freshman at the memphis">University of Memphis. I am studying Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Exercise and Sports Science. I hope to also graduate with a minor in German and a minor in either Naval Sciences or Aerospace Studies. After completing my undergraduate studies and my service years with the military I plan to return to college to finish getting a doctorate in Physical Therapy.
While in high school I was a memphis">tutor for German students, ranging from freshman to seniors. I helped with other subjects when a friend needed help but mainly stuck with German. I have been an honors student in every academic category, giving the slightly more advanced knowledge than other students.
My memphis">tutoring style is using a method of incorporating a students interests into the subject being taught. For instance, if one of my students in German was struggling with vocabulary I would provide sentences that were funny and included a particular vocab word. This allowed the student to have fun while learning, it proved to be a great technique in remembering words. If an activity is fun, students pay attention longer and are more attentive, thereby learning more than they would normally on average.
