Some interesting facts about me is that I am the only girl in my family when it comes to cousins or nephews! And until this year, I have lived in Lincoln, NE my whole life! Some of my favorite hobbies include: singing, swimming, watching movies and hanging out with my friends!

About Me

Well here is a little bit about me. I am a Freshman at Texas Christian University and my major is Neuroscience on the Pre-Med track. I see myself as a very studious college student but I love to get involved with all of the activities here on campus. After I graduate, I hope to attend medical school and to become an anesthesiologist.


My tutoring experience has ranged anywhere from helping my neighbors with their homework, to helping my friends study with a test that I am going to be taking as well (study groups). In high school I was also apart of the National Honor Society that led to me to tutor students every Tuesday in many subjects. I'm looking forward to extending my help to any and all kids that need it!


For me, I was a very visual and hands on learner and some days I found it hard to study for a test by just reading the text. With that, my approach to tutoring is to see what they know, and then to find out how they learn best. Whether that is visually, hands on, or by repetition, and continue to teach them in the way that works best for them. Another key element is staying organized, I would help them find organization skills that work best for them and encourage them to practice those skills throughout the sessions.
