About Me
I am a sophomore Biochemistry major at the University of Texas at Dallas. I have been part of the Dean's List with a current GPA of 3.969. After finishing my Bachelor's degree I hope to go on medical school. My ultimate goal is to become a doctor and to make the world a healthier place. I am part of the leadership committee of the AES cultural scholars, as well as a part of a leadership organization called the National Society of Leadership and Success.
Experience
In my junior year in high school, I had the amazing opportunity to be a tutor in AP Psychology. While at first I was only assigned one student which I met on a weekly basis, as I gained more experience I had the chance to work with two students and helped them succeed in class. This was done by giving the other students a different and comprehensive perspective. As a part of FrogTutoring I want to be able to help students succeed by giving them a new perspective to a topic.
Approach
Most of my life I have been blessed to have someone along the way to help me be successful in and out of class. The support system that I had was one that allowed me to see concepts in a way that I could understand them, in a manner that allowed me to keep learning and feel passionate about it. As a tutor, I envision to become exactly this, that one voice that allows to students to understand what they are learning. I will teach them in a way that is comprehensive and helps them feel empowered.
