Fun Facts

One of my passions is dancing! I love to dance! I can swing, half-step, two-step, and three-step, as well a waltz, polka, line, and hip hop dance. My friends and I go dancing any chance we get. It's my favorite ay to spend my free time.

About Me

I graduated high school almost a full year early, and I am now a sophomore, I'm dual enrolled at TCC, and TSU. I am currently working in Erath county EMS, as an EMT. I am majoring in Pre-med, with a minor in Psychology. After getting my masters I hope to Transfer to UT Southwestern for medical school. From there I want to become an ER Physician, and hopefully a Doctor Without Borders.

Experience

Since early Elementary school I have been in a program they call Gifted and Talented. Through this program I not only learned at an advanced level but I was able to tutor and Mentor other kids I went to school with.

Approach

I love to learn, and I try to encourage the students I work with to love to learn as well. Every person learns things differently, and I want to help my students discover what works for them. When a person discovers something that actually helps them learn material, they tend to change their entire attitude about learning in a positive direction. I hope to do this by giving them tools to learn as it's best for them, from helping them make flash cards, to showing them how to take effective notes.

Algebra Tutoring

I took algebra one in the 8th grade, and passed with an A all year. Math is one of my strongest areas academically.

Algebra II Tutoring

I took algebra 2 in the 10th grade, and passed with an A all year. Math is one of my strongest areas academically.

Anatomy Physiology I Tutoring

I read my moms college A&P book in the 8th grade, then took the college level course again in high school, I passed with a 95 or higher all year. This is my strongest subject.

AP English Tutoring

I took AP english for 2 years passing both with an A. I also excelled in Pre-Ap English for two years as well.

AP History Tutoring

I have always done very well in History, I passed both APUSH and AP world with flying colors.

AP Physics Tutoring

AP physics wasn't my number one in high school, but I still passed with a 92 through the year.

Biology Tutoring

This is another one of those subjects that I have always breezed through, I've always got all A's in all my bio classes.

Chemistry Tutoring

For anyone who's taken chemistry, they know that it's not easy, but I managed a solid 92 or higher during my high school career.

Economics Tutoring

I took my Econ classes online in high school, and breezed through it with a 99. Not to mention the fact that I was able to complete it in 12 days.

English Tutoring

English is one of those I've had a love hate relationship with, but i've always been able to maintain a 90 or higher throughout the years.

Geography Tutoring

I passed all my geo classes in high school with a 95 or higher.

Geometry Tutoring

Geometry is one of my favorites, I held a solid 93 or high my freshman year when I took the class.

Government Tutoring

Government is another course that I took online, I held a 95 or higher the whole 20 days it took me to complete the class.

History Tutoring

History is my favorite, I have never not made an A in history. I can help with everything from US to World history. I even have a few tricks up my sleeve to help with fact memorization when it comes to testing, especially orals.

Homework Coach Tutoring

I've been helping my niece and the kids I baby sit for as long as I can remember, oh and I used to help my sister with her college algebra in high school.

Math Tutoring

Nothing has my heart more than math, except maybe science, but I have never got an 80 in a math class in my life. I love it all from addition to calculus, and don't even get me started on the joys of imaginary numbers.

Math Advance Tutoring

If you've read any of my math subjects I've already listed you'll understand that math is one of my best. I can help with everything from trig to dividing polynomials. I even have songs and rhymes to help memories formulas like the quadratic formula.

Physics Tutoring

Boy, Physics is a doozy. I passed the AP class with an A. It's just so interesting, especially when you get to talking about waves and interference, boy its like heaven.

Pre Algebra Tutoring

Pre-Algebra is probably one of the easiest things i've ever done and taught. I have a plethora of tools to help students learn and memorize their basics and exercises to help them perfect them.

Pre Calculus Tutoring

The methods tight in this class are great, there are so many things about this subject that are just so interesting. I passed the advanced version of this class with an A, and loved every minute of it.

Psychology Tutoring

I never took this in high school but I've taken the class in college and passed it with flying colors, I even still have contact with my professor if there was ever anything I didn't know how to help with.

Reading Comprehension Tutoring

Reading comp is my favorite of the english classes, Ive always done quite well in this area.

SAT Math Tutoring

I never took the SAT because I did so well on the ACT. However, SAT prep was required at my school, and I always helped the other students in my class with it. It's not about the answer you know is right necessarily it's which of all the right answers is the most correct for the question.

Science Tutoring

Science, boy there are so many kinds. Science is the candy store of the school world. You can pick whatever you like. I personally have experience in all of your basic core sciences, as well as special help in health related sciences such as A&P, biology, and med term, ect.

Statistics Tutoring

I took a little bit of stats in high school, I like it cause it's more of a real life math. I am in college Stats however and can more than likely help with any high school stats problem thrown my way.

Study Skills Tutoring

I never studied in high school, but once I hit college I taught myself to study. It's easy after you find what fits. I happen to be a kinesthetic learner so I have to physically do things or write things to remember them long term. But everyones different and I like to help people discover how they lean and different methods of studying based on that.

Trigonometry Tutoring

I can show students how to do basic trig by hand, but I also know the ways to work all the updated TI calculators with trig functions.

Writing Tutoring

Writing is one of my favorite things to do outside of school because i like to let my creativity take the lead vs my formal writing. However I do know and understand and can teach the concepts of formal writing. What I excel most at however are science and history writing, I actually got 7's and 8's on my AP papers throughout my AP history and science experiences.
