Fun Facts
One thing that people quickly notice about me is my passion for sketching. When my friends prefer to spend their time on phone, I would instead spend that time making their sketch. My drawings define my creativity. It defines me. I also enjoy singing, although I wish I could have taken professional classes. I am an amateur dancer but enjoy activities like zumba or aerobics a lot. I love to play badminton and hope to learn tennis someday.
About Me
I am a senior Biology major at Temple University. I did my High School in India where I was the school topper in Biology Board examination. I did my freshmen year from Arcadia University and transferred to Temple after that. I was listed twice in the Dean's list for my academic performances. I have been currently accepted at The Kornberg School of Dentistry for the DMD program. My ultimate goal is to become a successful dentist.
Experience
As a part of the Diamond Peer teacher program at Temple University, I had the opportunity to be mentored by an experienced professor in the 'Intellectual Heritage' department. I led college level students in 'Mosaics I' classroom discussions and organized group study sessions for them. As part of my community service experience, I volunteered at Logan Elementary School where I conducted science experiments for kids. I had to plan and execute over ten science experiments for a span of a semester.
Approach
As a student, science and math classes always fascinated me because I could connect it to real life examples. On the other hand classes like English or social sciences woke the creative and imaginative part of my mind. As a tutor, I like to keep things real. It is important to relate the lectures with real life instances to make studying fun. It is also important to encourage students to be creative and curious at the same time. All of this tied together makes a perfect learning experience.

Biochemistry Tutoring
I can tutor Biochemistry because I took two college level Biochemistry classes: General Biochemistry and Physical Biochemistry. I secured A- in both the classes. The physical biochemistry class was a 5000/2000 level class which is usually meant for grad students.
Biology I Tutoring
I can tutor Biology I and Biology II because it is my major subject all my undergrad classes were based on these two classes. I secured a B- and B+ respectively in these classes. I was also the school topper for my Biology board examination in High School in India. My academic life has been focused on Biology for the last 6 years.
