Fun Facts
One thing most people can see right off the bat is that I am an extrovert, and I enjoy being around people. Like most Indians, I grew up playing cricket and football. I enjoy the guitar every now and then, and I'm working on my singing so one day I can perform in front of an audience. Since I've moved out of the dorms at OSU, I've picked up cooking as my latest hobby. I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and coming up with my own recipes.
About Me
I'm an international student studying at The Ohio State University. I was born in India, but I was raised in Dubai. I'm currently pursuing a degree in Chemical and Bio-molecular Engineering, with a minor in Computer and Informational Science (CIS). I plan on getting my MBA after getting a few years of work experience. My ambition is to become a successful entrepreneur.
Experience
During the summer break of my senior year in high school, I volunteered to teach at a school for differently abled children in Bengaluru, India. The brief stint as a teacher later turned into something I really enjoyed doing as I entered college. During my two years at OSU, I often spent time with my classmates, or students who took classes that I had already taken, and helped them study for their exams. I helped them understand concepts and how to tackle application based problems.
Approach
In my high school, teachers often paid little attention to students like myself who weren't at the top of the class. I couldn't learn a whole lot in a classroom setting, and along with the apathy of my teachers, I was very demotivated and my grades slipped. For my last year in high school, I took the help of tutors, and my grades increased dramatically, as I graduated high school with mostly A's.With Frog Tutoring, I would be able to help students overcome the same problems I faced.
