Fun Facts
I love doing visual arts. I paint and draw with various art mediums. Doing art engages a part of my brain that I normally do not use as much. I am a visual learner so art helps me with my learning process. I also like being outside by hiking, running and walking. I like to spend my time in nature which helps me be more mindful.
About Me
I chose to study engineering because I like to solve problems and apply theories to practical matters.
I have taken courses in math (calculus, linear algebra, ordinary differential equations), physics, chemistry, english, design, programming, economics, statics, environmental engineering, surveying, and numerical methods.
Before this degree, I studied Biological Sciences. I have taken courses in biology, chemistry, and research.
Experience
I have tutored elementary, middle school and high school, and college students throughout the years. I have helped students in math, physics, chemistry, biology, english, economics, languages, and test prep. In high school, I volunteered my time teaching children and teenagers with their homework at the local library. In college, I helped students in a variety of fields. I am excited and eager to help more people!
Approach
I want my students to hone their critical thinking and problem solving skills. I like to show them examples and ask them to complete questions so I can see in what areas they are strong in and what areas they need help in. I encourage them to try their hardest while I guide them along the way.
