Fun Facts

I grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I have 3 chihuahuas there and all of their names are famous artists: Picasso, Amadeus, and Chanel. I played the clarinet for 9 years and the saxophone for 2! My friend and I tried to start a Book Club in high school. One day I would like to write a children's book!

About Me

I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. I'm aspiring to be a pediatric intensive care unit nurse. I see myself going back to school in the future to get an advanced degree.

Experience

I tutored an elementary student when I was in high school. I also tutored elementary school children in reading during my first year of college through the program America Reads. I've always been eager and willing to help classmates in school who needed help as well! As a child caregiver I have a lot of experience working with children.

Approach

I know how important and effective having 1 on 1 help can be. Trying a difficult or new concept in an environment with no pressure and someone else to explain it in a different way can make all of the difference. I'm a highly organized person, and I think I can really help convey some of those skills and tools as well to create a lasting impact.
