I am quite passionate about personal growth, as it pertains to physical/mental/emotional health and my career. When engaging in reflection or conversation of personal growth, one has the opportunity to be the student and/or the teacher, which is always a humbling experience. My foundation is built on my family and our 4 dogs. I'm always open to sharing cute animal videos, especially my own dog content.

About Me

I am a born and bred academic and am very passionate about education, learning, and growth. Currently, I am a full-time advertising professional in Dallas, TX where I work with both national and local brands on their consumer insights and marketing strategies. I am a 2018 graduate of Texas Christian University where I studied Strategic Communication and Spanish. I was a Chancellor's Scholar and worked diligently to earn a 4.0 for my four years.

Experience

I have worked with my peers and colleagues on their written expression, ensuring they communicate their ideas clearly and concisely. I have experience working with thesis and research papers, speeches, presentations, reports, and creative writing. I also have experiences teaching social justice and ethics to high school seniors as well as ESL adult education.

Tutoring gives me the opportunity to impact students of all ages on their own education journeys, so they, too, can teach the world.

Approach

Growing up, I struggled with reading comprehension and writing. In high school, I was fortunate to have a series of incredible teachers who, through encouragement and many one-on-ones, helped me realize not only my potential, but also my passion. As a tutor, I intend to bring full passion to the table (or screen). I will provide positive feedback, ask questions, and inspire students to think critically. In addition, I can teach study and organization skills that I use in my job today!
