Fun Facts
In my spare time I love to write! Children’s books, devotionals, blog writing, spoken word, etc. My husband and I started a ministry in Ghana, West Africa, where I lived for 2 years. We came to the states to pursue our education, in hopes of utilizing it back in Ghana. I miss the country, the culture and the people more than words will ever say. I am pursuing a BA in Nursing (emphasis in labor/delivery) and hopefully a Masters in Nursing education so that I can teach on a collegiate level.
About Me
I live in Texas, hailing from California for nursing school! My husband and I LOVE Texas! I am a Christian, and can apply my faith to every area of my life! I love helping people, and hope/plan to be doing it for the rest of my life, in whatever capacity I am able to. Through perseverance I have a lot of experience in applying education to every area of my life from being a banker, a missionary, an event planner, tutor, treasurer, secretary, sales clerk, and CNA.
Experience
I have tutored, taught and lead most of my life, in a variety of settings. I graduated High School in 2006 with Honors for completing advanced courses and graduated the Health Careers Academy. I taught dance as a teenager- adulthood. I have helped my fellow classmates, younger siblings, as well as students in Ghana.
Approach
When I returned back to college in my mid to late twenties, I realized that I didn't know how to process or study any of the information I was learning in classes. Through trial, error, determination, and teacher advisement I was able to acquire the methods and tools necessary to be a successful student in a competitive field. I approach learning from a fun perspective, to help make information relatable and applicable in everyday life.
