I am a lifelong learner and love to spread my knowledge where I can. I also love to crochet. I re-taught myself and spend a lot of time making sweaters now. I also love to bake intricate desserts and I love the smell of night-blooming jasmine early in the morning.

About Me

I am currently a features writer for a Static Media publication and a talented automotive writer. I wanted to pursue a career in pharmacy but fell into writing, and I love it. I am a skilled English and writing tutor because of it. Even though I am not the best piano player, I am a well-practiced vocal performer with experience in chamber music, contemporary vocal music, and vocal jazz. I am always inspired to continue learning and come from a family of educators. I am also very inspired by my tutoring student who goes the extra mile to master a subject.

Experience

I have been an online tutor for quite a while, but as far back as high school ai was the go-to editor for all of my friends. I parlayed this into a lucrative job at the school's writing center and haven't regretted it since. I love helping students with words on paper and am also an experienced AP testing coach. I can help anyone pass an AP exam with a 4 or a 5 and achieve this myself with a five on AP English Literature, Psychology, US History, Art History, and Chemistry.

Approach

I was never really one to struggle in school, but I always wanted to help my friends when I was finished before they were in class. This was the beginning of my understanding of what a tutor should be. I am patient and kind, and I like to find an approach that works for each individual to enhance their strengths and build up their weaknesses. I prefer positive example-based teaching and letting my students lead where the lessons should go so they end up winners.
