About Me

I am an experienced tutor with more than 10+ years of experience tutoring students from middle school to college in mathematics, sciences and ELA. Also, I have worked with students with different disabilities such as ADHD and autism. I have a PhD from CalTech in Aeronautics and have been a visiting researcher at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. I have a passion for teaching and helping students, especially in STEM subjects.

Experience

I have tutored students from college both full-time students and part-time students who are getting back into finishing their undergraduate degree. For the past year, I have been tutoring students in middle and high school that are in foster care. I have also tutored veteran students who have returned to college to finish their degrees when I was a graduate student.

Approach

For me, I found that each student has a different learning style. I meet them where they are so that they feel comfortable with me when it comes to learning. Additionally, I make sure to build trust with the students so that it is an engaging environment when it comes to learning.
