Fun Facts
Hello! I am so excited to meet you and your family! Let me share a bit more about myself. I have two degrees from the washington">University of Washington: Biomedical Science and Psychology. My fiancé and I are new-ish to the Bay Area.
About Me
I look forward to working with children of all educational and ability backgrounds. I was awarded the AP scholar medal in high school for completing the most AP classes in my graduating class. I have also spent 2+ years as a behavioral therapist for children of varying levels of neurodivergence.
I have completed microbiology, molecular biology, genetics & genomics, general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, pre-calc, calc 1, calc 2, and a full year of physics. I believe that I could be most helpful with sight words, learning to read, spelling tests, addition, multiplication, division, history, science projects, standardized testing, college applications, public speaking, music, and most importantly building your child's confidence in themselves!
Experience
I have tutored children from the age of 5 to 25 on and off for almost a decade. I have improved my test scores, confidence, and ability to read.
Approach
Patience is my number one rule. Tutoring is a process and nothing to be rushed
